Last week in Denver, Colorado, the world's largest wheelchair sports competition was held. The National Veteran's Wheelchair Games is an annual event that brings together some of the nation's top wheelchair athletes. On Thursday, those athletes spent some time with youngsters to inspire them to active lifestyles and encourage them to try sports. What a fabulous program - the wheelchair games are a fantastic way to get out there and compete - but the additional of the children's day event is genius...These vets just keep on giving!
